JEFFREY NEAL

“Life sometimes takes twists and turns, but I can sense the hand of God still lovingly guiding me. He is my REFINER. This album reflects my experience over the last several years, particularly with raising a special-needs daughter. I thank the Lord for the gift of growth that He has blessed our family with through her.

“Music was a big part of my childhood. My dad taught me my first piano lessons when I was eight years old. And my folks paid way too much money for my trombone lessons during middle and high school. However, when I was 15 years old I discovered an old guitar in a closet of the music building. That guitar quickly became my favorite instrument and it was the catalyst that really sparked my songwriting.

“Since that time, my musical endeavors have mainly centered around traditional worship leadership. However, a couple of years ago, a friend taught me the basics of music production, and it became an avenue to polish and share some of the songs that have meant a lot to me. This album is the product of many hours in our basement home studio with my sons, writing, refining the sound, and learning from one another. I sincerely hope it is a blessing to you.”
